Console Connect by PCCW Global was today named Network Virtualisation Innovation of the Year (Platinum) at Juniper Research’s 2021 Future Digital Awards for Telco Innovation.
The Telco Innovation category recognises the most impactful products and services from across the telecoms, mobile operator and carrier sectors. Entries are reviewed by a Juniper Research analyst panel, which assess a number of criteria, including product innovation, certification and compliance, and future business prospects.
The judges were said to be particularly impressed by Console Connect’s network automation software that manages access to PCCW Global’s high-speed global private MPLS network, and provides users with a one-touch portal for seamless global connectivity.
“We are delighted to name Console Connect by PCCW Global as winner of Network Virtualisation Innovation of the Year at Juniper Research’s 2021 Future Digital Awards. Network virtualisation is a huge driver of innovation for today’s telecoms industry, and the Console Connect Software Defined Interconnection® platform is leading the way by providing its users with a more flexible, fast and secure approach to networking,” said Elson Sutanto, Principal Analyst at Juniper Research.
“Being named Network Virtualisation Innovation of the Year at the 2021 Future Digital Awards is a great start to the year for Console Connect. Our digital platform continues to demonstrate the value of network automation to the telecoms industry, and we have big plans to significantly expand the Console Connect ecosystem this year and introduce more on-demand network services for our users,” says Neil Templeton, VP of Digital Innovation Marketing, PCCW Global.
Last year, the Console Connect platform collected a number of industry awards, including Most Innovative Product or Service Award at AfricaCom 2020, Most Innovative Service and Best Carrier Enterprise Service at the Telecom Review Excellence Awards, and Wholesale Innovation Disruptor of the Year at the 2020 Global Carrier Awards.
