London – 09/12/2021: Console Connect and Tango Networks have today announced a collaboration to provide on-demand native business mobile communications services through the Console Connect Software Defined Interconnection® platform.

The collaboration combines Console Connect’s fast, secure and on-demand connectivity with Tango Networks’ Mobile-X mobile communications service, enabling businesses to quickly and easily configure and deploy native mobile services from wherever they are located.

The Mobile-X service helps businesses integrate their mobile phones seamlessly into Unified Communications (UC) platforms without the need for any additional software or applications.

Communications resellers, service providers and enterprises can use the Console Connect Software Defined Interconnection® platform to create private and direct connections to a UC environment, improving overall network performance and security. The automated Console Connect fabric is underpinned by PCCW Global’s private, low latency IP backbone, which is one of the largest MPLS networks in the world.

Tango Networks’ Mobile-X service will be directly available to Console Connect users through the platform’s new MeetingPlace feature. MeetingPlace enables users to meet, buy and sell within a growing ecosystem of cloud, data centre, SaaS, UCaaS, IX and IoT partners, while making on-demand virtual interconnections between apps, services and one another.

Users of the platform can virtually interconnect across the leading AS3491 MPLS network, which offers higher levels of network performance, security and speed.

Console Connect is today accessible from more than 650 Console Connect-enabled data centres in over 50 countries worldwide, providing extensive reach across Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, Africa, and Latin America. The platform is also directly integrated with all major cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud and others.

“Today’s businesses are increasingly looking for a more integrated and mobile-centric way for their distributed workforce to access the tools that they need. We are pleased to welcome Tango Networks to the Console Connect MeetingPlace, allowing our users to assemble mission-critical mobile communications applications, whilst also improving their overall network performance and security,” said Neil Templeton, VP, Marketing, Digital Innovation, Console Connect.

The Mobile-X service from Tango Networks turns any mobile phone into a fully featured extension of a company’s communications platform. Businesses use Mobile-X to deliver easy-to-use, business quality communications for remote workers and employees working from home, the distributed workforce, deskless employees, workers on the go or in the office. Mobile-X enables users to operate business calling features using their phones’ native device interfaces, requiring no special apps or training to utilize top business quality communications no matter where they work. Companies can record and monitor business calls and texts, even if they take place on personal mobile phones.

“Console Connect represents a game-changing approach to IT and communications solution creation for today’s businesses. The platform’s Software-Defined connectivity and MeetingPlace ecosystem are a perfect fit for our Mobile-X service. Now communications service providers and other resellers will be able to create exciting new mobile-enabled services, and enterprises will benefit from finely tailored mobile communications for their distributed workforces,” said Andrew Bale, General Manager, Cloud Services, Tango Networks.
