Console Connect now enabled in more Iron Mountain data centres worldwide

Console Connect and Iron Mountain are pleased to announce that the Console Connect Software Defined Interconnection® platform is now available as part of the Global Iron Mountain Data Centre Ecosystem.  In addition to the broader global reach, Console Connect is accessible for the first time from select Iron Mountain data centre locations across the US.

Customers at Iron Mountain’s Kansas City data centre, located in Central US, can experience the flexibility and speed of on-demand private connectivity using the Console Connect self-service portal – bringing them instant and direct access to major cloud platforms, as well as direct links to more than 70 data centre locations across North America.

The platform will also soon be available to US customers at Iron Mountain data centres in:

  • Virginia: Iron Mountain’s 80-acre colocation campus in Northern Virginia is powered by 100% renewable energy and has achieved the highest levels of compliance in the region
  • Pennsylvania: Iron Mountain’s 200-acre colocation facility near Pittsburgh is located 220 feet beneath the earth’s surface, offering one of the most secure locations in the country.
  • Phoenix: The 30-acre Iron Mountain campus in Arizona is in close proximity to PHX international airport.
  • Boston: Iron Mountain’s Boston edge data centre is New England’s first LEED Gold colocation facility and is Uptime Tier III Gold certified.

US customers can also access Console Connect’s Internet On-Demand service. Available through a single Console Connect port, Iron Mountain customers will be able to access a business internet service whenever they want and for as little or as long as they need – delivered across one of the world’s best connected Tier 1 IP networks.

Console Connect and Iron Mountain are also pleased to announce that the Console Connect platform will be added to Iron Mountain’s colocation facility near the Central Business District of Singapore. Customers at this facility will be able to enjoy extensive on-demand connectivity across Asia Pacific, connecting more than 80 data centres in 12 markets, including 10 key data centre locations in Singapore.
